Women are central to farming communities across the hills of Uttarakhand.

They tend fields, nurture crops and contribute significantly to the wellbeing of their families and communities. Yet many women farmers continue to face challenges that limit access to resources, markets, financial opportunities and improved farming practices.

Why This Initiative Matters
